For almost as long as I can remember, my life has spanned continents. I was born in Ruse, Bulgaria, spent a year in Nara, Japan as a toddler, grew up in Cupertino, California, and attended university in Boston, Massachusetts. Today my immediate family is split between Bulgaria and California, with extended family spread across the United States and Europe.
During undergrad, I studied abroad at Peking University and the London School of Economics, and navigating those faraway places as a teenager made me comfortable being a global citizen. These days, I am just as passionate about revisiting my favorite places as finding new ones to enjoy.
